The Prompt Calibrator works by guiding you through a short calibration process. Instead of trying to craft the perfect prompt on your own, the tool helps shape your idea step by step so AI can engage with it more effectively.
You begin by choosing an archetype from the Compass of Co-Creation, then enter your idea or question. The sliders allow you to adjust the depth, structure, and creative range of the response before generating a calibrated prompt that can be used directly in an AI conversation.

The process begins with the Compass of Co-Creation.
The compass contains twelve archetypes representing different modes of Human–AI collaboration. Each archetype supports a different stage of the creative process, from exploration and idea development to implementation and long-term stewardship.
Choosing an archetype helps frame how AI should approach your idea.
For example, an archetype focused on exploration may open new directions, while an archetype focused on stewardship may help refine and guide a long-term vision.
After selecting an archetype, you enter the idea, question, or direction you want to explore.
This can be as simple or as detailed as you like. The goal is not to craft a perfect prompt. The goal is simply to provide the starting point for the calibration process.
The Prompt Calibrator then uses that input as the foundation for building a more structured and calibrated prompt.
The sliders allow you to shape how AI responds to your idea.
Depth controls how deeply the AI explores the subject, ranging from quick insights to more detailed reasoning.
Structure controls how organized the response should be, from structured guidance to open exploration.
Creative Range controls how imaginative the response becomes, from focused ideas to more expansive possibilities.
Together, these controls help tune the prompt to match your intention.
Once the archetype, idea, and sliders are set, the Prompt Calibrator generates a calibrated prompt.
This prompt preserves your original idea while adding the structure and context needed for AI to respond more effectively.
